Termites are a group of detritophagous eusocial insects which consume a wide variety of decaying plant material, generally in the form of wood, leaf litter, and soil humus. They are easily identified by the typically soft- bodied and unpigmented worker caste for which they have been colloquially termed "white ants"; however, they are not ants, to which they are distantly related. Wikipedia
We can take care of your pre purchase termite inspection or annual termite inspection with a full comprehensive report including photos and description of problem areas, testing for moisture in all wet areas, physical inspection of the roof void, all timber within the home meaning kitchen, bathrooms, laundry cabinets, grounds and sheds as well as updating you on the status of any termite treatment done in the past and advice on the best practice on how to protect your investment into the future.

They may be small, but don’t be fooled, invasive ants are some of the world’s worst pests. These invasive ants can have a huge impact on our environment, economy, and way of life. Hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent in Australia on ant eradications and control because of their potential for devastating harm to wildlife, infrastructure, industry, and even human health.

The adult moth is grey-brown with a wingspan of over 40mm. It lays greyish coloured eggs in neat clusters, usually on the tree or in woodpiles. It is mostly active at night and can also lay eggs under shade cloth and behind curtains. Eggs hatch as brown-black hairy caterpillars with a faint yellow body stripe. They quickly grow up to 40mm long, feeding at night and only on cape lilac trees. They are sensitive to sunlight and while small hide under bark and in hollows of the tree, usually on the southern side.

There are approximately 100 species of mosquitoes in Western Australia, a number of which are serious pests and/or disease vectors. Effective mosquito management can help to minimise the public health risk and impact on amenity associated with mosquitoes. Mosquito management is only necessary if people and mosquitoes come into contact, either in residential or recreational areas that are within the dispersal range of mosquito breeding habitats.

Ommatoiulus moreleti (spelt moreletii in older publications), commonly known as the Portuguese millipede, is a herbivorous millipede native to the western Iberian Peninsula where it shares its range with other Ommatoiulus species.[2] From here, it has spread by international commerce to a number of new localities. This species was accidentally introduced into Australia without its natural enemies and has since become an invasive pest. A number of methods have been developed to manage this millipede. Wikipedia

Rodents are mammals which are characterised by a single pair of continuously growing incisors in each of the upper and lower jaws. Around the world, rats and mice are known to spread over 35 diseases. Diseases can also be transferred indirectly by ticks, fleas, and mites that live on infected rats. Rats can be discouraged and controlled simply by denying them food and shelter. Kev fix to rodents starts with an inspection of the property to identify where there living, feeding, and breeding. Then placing hard case durable locked stations baited with a mix of baits in these areas.

Spiders travel in the wind, it’s called ballooning. Spiders climb to the highest point then pull-out silk, when there is enough silk out to carrier them in the wind they let go and drift to wherever the wind takes them. Beginning with removing the webs with a web brush, this will change the look of your home as well as saving you a job. But most importantly the treatment will last longer because now the chemical can be applied in all the cracks and crevices where spider’s hideaway, not just on the webs because once there removed, so is the chemical. This is why we can offer a 6-month warranty.

Several species of paper wasps are found in Australia, however only the yellow paper wasp and the common paper wasp are widespread in south-west Western Australia. Both are introduced species, not native to WA. Paper wasps make their nests from plant and wood fibres which they chew and mix with saliva into a 'paper mache'-like consistency. The final product is a grey papery nest of many cells in a single comb. The nest has the shape of a cone or crumpet, ranging in size from a golf ball to a dinner plate but are more commonly the size of the palm of your hand. They are fixed in place by a single attachment point.

The tenant is responsible for having a pest treatment at the end of their lease where the tenants have allowed animals on the premises. Even if the animals have only been kept outside or have only been on the property for a short stay you are required to complete a Pest Control treatment. The end of lease pest fumigation is the last thing you do before you hand the keys back to your property manager.

Bed bugs are small parasitic insects that feed on human blood by piercing the skin. They do not live on humans or burrow into the skin. They are very mobile, but only move short distances to feed, so are commonly found near food (blood) sources. Generally, bed bugs are more of a nuisance pest than a serious health threat. There is no evidence to indicate that they transmit any infectious disease. Bed bugs can live up to six months at room temperature and can survive for long periods without a blood meal.

They can be inadvertently brought into the house in cut flowers and laundry. Carpet beetle larvae can damage fabrics, furnishings and clothing that contain cotton, wool, silk, hair, fur or feathers. Synthetic items are resistant to attack but blends of synthetic and natural fibres can be damaged.
